Ben Kellie
I was born and raised in Alaska and spent large amounts of time in the rural villages flying groceries and supplies with my father. This sparked my interest in mechanical design solutions and energy systems; specifically in regions with limited resources and infrastructure.
I am currently an engineer at a cool company and am also tinkering on a start-up in my spare time with friends. I married an awesome and crafty girl in August of 2012. She writes a cool blog about our adventures over here.
I previously earned a MS in Mechanical Engineering at the Ohio State University in the Microsystems and Nanosystems Lab. My work on alternative energy and material synthesis with continued efforts in design and fabrication. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alaska Fairbanks in spring of 2010.
